It all began with hunting trips in Northern Wisconsin with my Dad. I would make jerky for our trips. I made it as a hobby the rest of the year. I tried new ingredients, new recipes, and tested until my belly was full.

After moving to Texas in 2013, my friends and neighbors convinced me to start selling my jerky, which had already been a dream as long as I could remember, so it didn't take much convincing.

At first, we sold to some coworkers, then to neighbors, then at local farmer's markets. In less than a year, my business partner and I had each quit out full time jobs and focused solely on growing the business.

A few years later, we began selling at a wholesale level to local shops around Austin, Texas. To this day we are in nearly 100 stores, operate at over a dozen farmer's markets a week around the state, and ship online across the entire United States as well as to APO addresses.
