Retail Sales Representative

Full Time • Texas

$15/hr + 3% Commission

Join our retail storefront team and become the face of ATX Jerky. You'll help customers discover their favorite jerky flavors, manage inventory, process sales, and create a welcoming experience that keeps people coming back.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
• Process cash and card transactions
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Manage inventory and restock displays
• Handle customer inquiries and special orders

Requirements:

• Reliable and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for quality food and customer service
• Retail or customer service experience a plus

Farmer's Market Sales Representative

Part Time • Multiple Locations

$40/day + 10% Commission + Tips (6.5 hour shifts)

Love meeting people and being outdoors? Run our booth at Austin-area farmers markets and connect directly with jerky enthusiasts. You'll represent our brand, manage samples, handle sales, and build relationships with our community.

Market Locations (15+ weekly):

• Greater Austin Area • Saturdays
• Bryan/College Station Area • Saturdays
• Waco Area • Saturdays
• Greater Austin Area • Sundays
• Additional Austin and Central Texas locations

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate market booth
• Answer customer questions
• Process sales and handle cash/cards
• Build relationships with repeat customers
• Maintain product display and cleanliness

Requirements:

• Outgoing, friendly, and personable
• Reliable and locally based (Austin area preferred)
• Flexible weekend and weekday availability
• Passion for our products and community
• No experience needed—we'll train!

Kitchen - Part Time

Part Time • Elgin, TX

$10–$12/hr

Support our artisan jerky production. You'll assist with prep, seasoning, packaging, and shipping. Learn the craft of small-batch jerky making and help us deliver quality products to customers nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare beef for seasoning and dehydrating
• Apply seasonings and monitor batch quality
• Package finished jerky in pouches
• Handle labeling and inventory organization
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Support shipping and fulfillment

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and quality focus
• Food-safe handling practices
• Able to work in a warm production environment
• Reliable and punctual
• No prior experience required—we'll teach you!

Kitchen - Full Time

Full Time • Elgin, TX

$10–$13.50/hr

Lead our kitchen operations. You'll oversee batch production, quality control, recipe consistency, and training new team members. This is a key role in maintaining the artisan standards that make ATX Jerky special.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day batch production and scheduling
• Maintain quality standards and recipe consistency
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products
• Train and supervise part-time kitchen staff
• Monitor equipment and address maintenance needs
• Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with sales and shipping teams

Requirements:

• Food production or kitchen management experience (preferred)
• Strong attention to quality and detail
• Ability to manage multiple batches and deadlines
• Leadership and training skills
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
